Jay Jackson grew up around the construction industry and takes a deep interest in all phases of the building process. During high school he worked for two uncles who were builders and through this experience caught a passion for excellence in building. He chose a career in construction after college and began in the business building the entire house; everything from foundation and framing to the finished product. As an employee for a General Contractor he was quickly promoted to Superintendent because of his knowledge of the business, his expert craftsmanship and his leadership abilities.

Jay has been building quality homes for over 40 years and takes great pride in the product he puts on the market. He surrounds himself with an excellent team of employees, suppliers and subcontractors dedicated to their craft.

When building a custom home, Jay begins with a thorough pre-construction conference with home buyers to understand their expectations: design, costs and schedule. Jody has an extensive background in the residential construction industry having built numerous homes with his father. Jody spends his time on location at our job sites managing quality control and overseeing the construction process. He assists in supervising the subcontractors and manages the scheduling to ensure the building process runs smoothly. Jody is also a part of the preconstruction meeting with each client. The lines of communication are open from day one for each client to feel comfortable communicating with Jay and Jody throughout the building process. Jody strives for perfection, demanding the finest work for our homeowners. Jody’s ability to organize and make things happen on schedule allows Jay Jackson Builders to present a finished quality product in a timely manner.

Deron is a very versatile employee. Along with exceptional carpentry skills Deron has an extensive background in professional painting. Deron deals with all aspects of customer service to ensure homeowners are completely satisfied with their new home. He maintains all job sites to guarantee they are safe working environments. Deron brings an outstanding work ethic to the JJB team and takes pride in a job well done.
